Our Contract
These terms and conditions govern the supply of goods sold by Richardsons, Trading Address: 6-7 Rochester Avenue, High Street, Feltham, Middlesex, TW13 4DX. Registered VAT no. 223 0173 18
Registered members of the British Hardware Federation.
All orders placed are subject to acceptance by us. All prices shown on the website are including V.A.T. (17.5%)
Availability
We will try our best to keep listed items in stock to meet your orders. If we do happen to have insufficient stock to supply your requirements, we will notify you and give you the choice of:
- A suitable substitute
or
- Give a second estimated date of delivery
This will be down to the buyer to decide what they wish to do from this point.
Age Requirements for Specific Goods
Some goods such as solvents and knives have an age restriction. When placing an order you must confirm you are over 18 years old and that the delivery will be accepted by a person over the age of 18. We reserve the right to cancel your order if we have reason to believe you are not legally entitled to order or receive certain goods.
Price and Payment
The price that is payable is set out on our website at the time that you make your purchase, plus any charges for delivery, which will be set out when making your order.
We reserve the right to change the price of goods, due to the nature of the goods and the changes in the market. Occasionally errors may occur on the website and goods may be incorrectly priced. On this occasion we will notify you of the error and then you can decide if you wish to go ahead with the order.
We must receive full payment from your order before supplying the goods. Payment will be accepted through Google checkout*. If you wish to send us payment through postal cheque, then please note that this will delay your order as we must wait for funds to clear before shipping.
* Google Checkout accepts major credit and debit cards, including VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard, Switch/Maestro and Solo.
Delivery
Unless you wish to collect the goods from the store, then we will deliver to the postal address that you supply. A signature will be required upon delivery and in the unlikely event that you do not receive all the goods we should be contacted immediately.
Special Orders
Orders of items that we do not normally keep in stock are classed as a special order. This means we will be ordering it into store therefore adding time onto your delivery date. We will inform you of the date your item should be dispatched and you can let us know from there if you wish to go ahead with the order. Please also note that any additional carriage charges from ordering in the items may be forwarded to the end purchaser and again, in this case, you will be notified.
